About the role The Handyperson is key to the welfare of our residents at Wellburn Care by ensuring high standards of general maintenance to the care home and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a handyperson who are self-motivated and can prioritise their own workload with a good general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance including basic plumbing, joinery, and household electrical fittings.
Our Handyperson will have a keen eye to identify general maintenance work that is required to keep our homes safe and as comfortable as possible for the residents.
You will be responsible for all minor repairs within the home as well as reporting defects, undertaking Health and Safety checks (training will be given) and maintaining the appropriate records.
