Applications are invited from Registered General Nurses with the relevant skills and experience for this post within the busy nursing team at our friendly, progressive and outstanding GP practice. Candidates must be dynamic, enthusiastic and able to use their own initiative. Previous experience within a primary care setting is essential.
The post-holder will be responsible for the monitoring and management of long-term conditions, health prevention, wound care, cervical screening, contraception, vaccinations and immunisations, and travel health. Their work will support the practice team in achieving QOF targets.
Salary scale: pro rata to £39,017 - £46,982 p.a (pay award pending) plus NHS pension scheme £41,175 after 2 years' service and £46,982 after 5 years' service.
30 hours per week, to be worked as follows:
- Monday 8.30am - 3.30pm (1 hour lunch)
- Tuesday 8.00am - 6.00pm (1 hour lunch)
- Wednesday 8.30am - 3.30pm (1 hour lunch)
- Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch)
Post-holders are also required to participate in a Saturday morning clinic rota, 8.30am - 12noon, approximately 1:12.
