Elmswood Academy is an innovative new online provision specialising in supporting children and young people with SEND, including SEMH needs. Elmswood Academy operates in strategic partnership with Wellbrook Education, an experienced provider of independent special schools supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate English Teacher to join our founding staff team and help shape a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment for pupils who require a more personalised approach to education.

This role is ideal for a teacher who:

  • Is passionate about inclusive education
  • Can build positive relationships with young people
  • Can deliver engaging and adaptive online lessons
  • Has experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs
  • Teaches English across KS3 and KS4
  • Prepares pupils for GCSE/IGCSE examinations
