Job Summary: We are hiring a maintenance employee to join our team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role, you should have experience in maintenance, be skilled with various hand and power tools, able to read blueprints, repair manuals, and tape measure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ELECTRICIAN LEVEL 1
    • Know how to read a tape measure.
    • Ability to use test measuring equipment, voltmeter, amp meters, megger, etc.
    • Installing and repairing wiring and electrical components in buildings and for equipment.
    • Test and inspect electrical work such as wiring and lighting to ensure safe installation and compliance with codes.
    • Ability to install all sizes and types of conduits.
    • Ability to install and repair all types of lighting fixtures.
    • Ability to install electrical panels and breakers. Voltage ranging from 24V to 480V 3 Phase.
    • Ability to replace and wire all sizes of electrical motors.
    • 2 years of schooling or 2 years of experience.
  • ELECTRICIAN LEVEL 2
    • Level 1 Skills
    • Ability to troubleshoot single phase and 3 phase motor controls, switches, relays, contactors, overloads, fuses, photo eyes, timers, etc.
    • Ability to read electrical schematics.
    • Work well with others.
    • 2 years of schooling or 3 years of experience.
  • ELECTRICIAN LEVEL 3-TROUBLESHOOTER
    • Level 1 Skills
    • Level 2 Skills
    • Ability to install, troubleshoot, and program PLC units.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and program all types of AC & DC drives.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
  • Ability to start up and shut down machine.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other employees.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritising, and time management.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and complete those tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must be a self-starter who works well with others and can follow a list of daily work assignments.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of equivalent experience.
