Spend your day with patients, not the dispensary bench. We're looking for an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist who wants to do what they trained for: see patients, run clinics, and grow a clinical service from the front. At Dysart, our dispensary is becoming technician-led, which means your time is freed up for consultations and prescribing — not labelling and checking.

About us: Wellbeing Pharmacies is an independently owned group of thriving branches, and we do things differently. We're a digital-first company that is actively building AI and modern technology into how we work, so our team spends less time on admin and more time on care. We were proud to see Dysart Pharmacy named Best Pharmacy in Fife — a reflection of the patient-centred care our community has come to expect. We believe the future of community pharmacy is clinical, and we're investing to stay ahead of it. We want a pharmacist who's excited to help build that future with us.

The opportunity: This isn't a standard community pharmacy role. Working closely with our Superintendent Pharmacist, you'll have genuine autonomy to shape and grow our clinical offering — and the support and infrastructure to make it happen. You'll lead NHS Pharmacy First Plus while driving our expanding portfolio of private services. If you think entrepreneurially and want to build something, you'll thrive here.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care, including NHS Pharmacy First Plus consultations
  • Lead and grow our private clinics — weight management, vaccinations, and travel health, with room to add more
  • Work with the Superintendent Pharmacist to spot new service and revenue opportunities
  • Make full use of our digital and AI tools to work smarter and keep care at the cutting edge
  • Build strong relationships with local Kirkcaldy surgeries and the wider community

About you:

  • GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber
  • Clinically ambitious — you want to build and grow clinics, not follow a corporate blueprint
  • Tech-forward — you're keenly curious about how digital tools and AI can improve patient care, and eager to use them
  • Patient-focused — delivering excellent care is what motivates you
  • Adaptable — you enjoy a varied day that blends clinical work with growing the business

Hours: Dysart is open Monday–Friday (9am–6pm) and Saturday (9am–1pm). Full-time is ideal, but we're flexible for the right candidate and will gladly consider part-time from 3-4 days/week.

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free flu jabs
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
  • Profit sharing
  • Sick pay
  • Store discount
