Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising to lead our philanthropy, community and events fundraising.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising leader to steward existing fundraising, drive new opportunities, and deliver income growth to meet our ambitious targets and support our mission of improving women’s health.
You will manage a driven and talented team of four, with three direct reports, supporting them to deliver against income targets and in their professional development and wellbeing.
As a senior member of the fundraising team, reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will play an active role in planning and delivering fundraising activities across different income streams.

You will contribute to building a positive, values-based culture within our fundraising team and bring together new ideas and creative thinking, expert leadership and strong relationship building and negotiation skills to contribute to significant growth.
Main Duties
- Lead and inspire a team of four (three direct reports), setting clear objectives and supporting professional development and team wellbeing.
- Share leadership and management of the Development Advisory Group (with the Director of Fundraising).
- Monitor team performance, ensuring high standards and collaborative working.
- Work closely with colleagues in fundraising, communications, and research to align activities and maximise impact.
- Develop a strong pipeline of major donors
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of major donors
- Work with the Community Engagement Manager to ensure the growth of community fundraising and challenge events
- Lead on the fundraising element of key major donor events through the year
