Exciting new position working for Wellbeing For Us as a Wellbeing Manager in the East Riding area. This role will oversee relationships in rural areas and facilitate support groups for varying groups of people such as carers, retirement support, and any other type of group that the community would require. Facilitation of 'wellbeing fairs' in local libraries and community centres. Linking up with other charities and organisations to support the local community. You will have two direct reports – wellbeing officers.

Community support – such as digital skilling upwards to help with independence, isolation, and loneliness.

Your role will be:

  • To lead and manage the Mental Health Support Team on a day-to-day basis.
  • To enable a safe, quality evidenced-based service; the team will require development and there will be specific work to ensure robust integration across early intervention pathways, working alongside community partners and education settings.
  • The post holder will lead the team to deliver evidenced-based interventions with adults with mild to moderate emotional and mental health problems.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Knowledge and skills in delivery of high professional care standards in line with legislation and best practice.
  • The ability to act creatively and respond to new and challenging situations.
  • Ability to process information with a solution-focused approach.
  • A positive approach to working with adults.
  • Extensive experience in leadership and management of diverse teams.
  • The ability to act on own initiative, supervise others, and co-ordinate work.

Work-based Knowledge:

The role will be part-time, 4 days a week or 5 days a week on reduced hours if preferred. Driving would be required to rural areas.
