Main Duties and Responsibilities
As the Head of Supply Chain & S&OP, your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- Own and run the monthly S&OP cycle: demand review, supply review, integrated reconciliation, executive S&OP.
- Own forecast accuracy at SKU level and the consolidated demand plan.
- Lead product segmentation — ABC/XYZ analysis by volume and variability — and translate it into differentiated planning policies (MTS / MTO / MTF, replenishment rules, inventory targets).
- Optimise the production plan against demand analysis: sequence runs, batch sizes and capacity allocation to maximise throughput at lowest landed cost per unit.
- Partner with the Sales & Marketing team to shape demand — pricing, promotions, NPI phasing, customer mix — to smooth volatility and improve plan stability.
- Find and hold the right balance between customer service and operational efficiency, making the trade-offs explicit and decision‑ready for the SLT.
- Convert the agreed S&OP plan into the master production schedule.
- Own the frozen horizon.
- Own the end‑to‑end procurement function: strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Lead materials management — MRP, inbound logistics, expediting and operational purchasing.
- Drive supplier on‑time‑in‑full performance and material cost‑down delivery.
- Manage inventory across raw materials, WIP and finished goods to agreed policy.
- Lead stores operations — accuracy, picking, goods receipt, kit‑to‑line.
- Lead order intake and order processing.
- Reduce lead time toward industry benchmark; reduce and hold backlog.
- Member of the Senior Leadership Team; contribute to supply chain strategy.
