This role involves managing a portfolio of 2-5 retailers in the Grocery & Discounters channel across Clairol, Silvikrin and Shockwaves brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Planning: Understand customer objectives and direction. Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business Plan with specified customers. Agree promotional forecast with Demand Planning. Ensure all opportunities for New Business in the channel are seized upon and implemented with excellence.
- Negotiation: Agree listings for new products and brands. Negotiate cost price changes with customers.
- Forecasting/Supply Chain: Build contacts with forecasting and supply chain teams within the customer to manage the most cost-effective supply chain.
- Financial Responsibilities: Manage monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts. Review business performance of accounts. Manage Gross to net controls. Prepare financial accruals and implement these with the Commercial team.
- Relationships: Build relationships with specified retailers at all levels of customer business. Be the voice of your customers within Wella Retail Hair.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Operated successfully at NAM or sustained success at NAE level.
- Advanced planning & monitoring skills.
- Proficient in analytical skills, consumer/shopper insights, communication & influencing, negotiation & sales management, P&L management, budget planning, and customer management.
- Strong sense of individual accountability and ability to work autonomously.
- Flexible approach and ability to adapt to challenges and changing priorities.
