THE ROLE
We are seeking a Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) Executive to support the Senior SRM Manager to deliver, analyse and optimise the performance of the pricing, promotional to drive revenue, volume and profitability delivering continual value creation for our market leading portfolio of brands and channels. You will be supporting the Senior SRM Manager to coordinate the vital market research, performance analytics, data management and SRM reporting for all brands and channels that will enable us to identify the right SRM strategy, action effective SRM initiatives and analyse our SRM performance. This role will be critical in driving revenue optimisation, and you will work closely with finance, brand, and channel counterparts to achieve this in line with the business planning processes. The SRM Executive will also play a key role in tracking and communicating SRM performance results across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Research and Insights Development: Leverage our CMI research and shopper analytics to input a macro and consumer lens into our pricing and promotional decisions. Conduct competitor & retailer research to build and maintain a live database of market activity across channels. Summarise and flag changes, along with insights into how this impacts price index benchmarks and brand hierarchies within the market. Leverage global and local SRM guidelines and insights to develop insights that inform pricing and promotional decisions.
- Support Strategic SRM Planning: Collaborate with the Senior SRM Manager to develop and execute SRM strategies aligned with brand and channel objectives. Provide analytical support for annual planning, new product development (NPD) launches, and distribution expansion plans. Work in conjunction with finance to execute the NPD pricing process. Partner with supply chain and sales teams to manage volume-at-risk (VAR) stock, ensuring profitability. Contribute to Perfect Store initiatives by integrating SRM insights into customer activation plans. Build & maintain pricing and promotional playbooks and cascade to the sales teams.
- Data Analytics and Modelling: Maintain data models to evaluate pricing, promotional, and channel strategies as defined through annual process and business objectives. Support scenario planning for pricing adjustments and cost changes, providing data-driven recommendations. Analysis on brand & customer mix, building recommendations on how we proactively drive mix to balance profitability, volume, and areas of high growth potential. Conduct feature space and permanent merchandising space analysis to evaluate ROI of gate fees, space production and maintenance costs, and make recommendations for trade spend optimisation. Develop dashboards and tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and enable decision-making.
- SRM Performance Reporting: Track and evaluate the outcomes of SRM initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement. Share performance results with cross-functional teams to align on opportunities and next steps. Assist in preparing SRM performance reports for senior stakeholders, detailing the impact of implemented strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Trade Marketing teams to align revenue management strategies. Support the development of customer-specific sell-in decks from an SRM perspective to drive compliance. Support sales teams with ad hoc customer challenges or opportunities that sit outside of SRM guidelines or require SRM signoff. Collaborate with the global SRM community to share best practices and leverage tools and frameworks.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with experience in data modelling and analysis. Experience in a related finance, SRM or Trade Marketing role. Proficiency in Excel. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable: Experience in FMCG, beauty, or retail industries. Familiarity with pricing, promotional, and revenue management strategies. Knowledge of professional and retail hair or nail categories is a plus. Experience working within a matrixed organization.
