Wella Company is a leading beauty company with iconic brands such as Wella Professionals, Clairol, OPI, Nioxin and ghd. With 6,000 employees globally and operations in over 100 countries, we empower consumers to look, feel and be their true selves through innovation in the hair and nail industry. We're hiring a Director, Pro Business Digital Acceleration to lead hands‑on delivery of modern growth capabilities for our Professional (Salon) business across Wella and ghd. In this technical, cross‑functional leadership role you will translate marketing and revenue priorities into shipped, measurable outcomes across MarTech, data, experimentation, CRM, personalization, commerce and content/GenAI operations.

Responsibilities

  • Stand up and run cross‑functional growth squads (Product, Engineering, Data/Analytics, DS/ML, UXR, Marketing/Commercial) with clear OKRs tied to commercial outcomes.
  • Ship and scale 2‑4 lighthouse journeys/use cases (e.g., pro onboarding, education‑to‑purchase, high‑intent triggers) with rigorous readouts.
  • Build strong measurement and experimentation foundations (event taxonomy, KPI tree, A/B + incrementality cadence, dashboards that inform budget/roadmap decisions).
  • Activate and industrialize shared platform capabilities: CDP, personalization, CRM/journeys, server‑side tagging/consent, attribution, commerce optimization, retail media enablement, and GenAI content operations.
  • Create reusable "packs" (instrumentation specs, audience/journey templates, CRO test templates, reporting dashboards) to speed market delivery while reducing total cost of ownership.
  • Ensure governance‑compliant delivery (privacy‑by‑design, security, AI guardrails) and clear swim lanes: Marketing owns strategy and channel execution; this role owns enabling capabilities, integration, and outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in growth engineering, marketing technology, or digital product roles; proven ability to lead hands‑on teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of end‑to‑end MarTech/data/commerce systems and integrations (including connected data layers and service/API‑based architectures).
  • Strong experimentation, analytics, and measurement rigor (SQL/Python a plus).
  • Excellent cross‑functional partnering with Marketing, Commercial, and platform owners.
