Join to apply for the Educator OPI role at Wella Company. This is a full-time, field-based, national role where you will deliver the education activation through field, studio and eventing based education that will help to grow the OPI business in line with the business goals and strategic framework.

You will communicate and educate OPI customers face to face primarily, but also virtually and through social media. You should have a strong passion for creation and delivery of digital education in support of F2F plans.

You will execute the OPI Education plan for all salons developing relationships with salons to maximise their use of and loyalty to OPI in salons, particularly Key Accounts & Tier 1 and 2 Gold doors close collaboration with the commercial teams and its partners.

You will work with the Area Team to identify, research and develop compelling education demos and visits to gain new business for OPI brands including localised gain events. You will hold training sessions, demo days for internal stakeholders and customers, and provide technical support across channels to enable customers to get the most out of OPI products.

You will support the Education Brand Manager and brand team to deploy the education activation aspects of new launches and education initiatives. You will contribute in line with your day-to-day work to producing professional and consumer UGC content to showcase OPI across social platforms for grid, story and lives as agreed with the marketing team.

Across the team you will share responsibility for providing technical advisory guidance required by customer services, via the social community forums and from field enquiries. You will regularly collaborate with the Commercial teams contributing monthly meetings, weekly communication, and attendance of sales meetings.

Represent OPI at key events such as trade shows, open days and industry events as required. Keep up to date with industry trends and changes, ensuring OPI is on the pulse. Support, train and work alongside the freelance education team on any of the above and our Nail Boss community to develop strong grass roots ambassadors to support our mission.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification, level 3 award in education and training (formerly PTLLS) or equivalent/higher.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a nail technician.
  • Manicure, Pedicure and Gel polish qualifications – preferably OPI.
  • Preferably qualified in acrylic and/or hard gel.
  • Confident with nail art.
  • Excited by nails and product innovation with a knowledge of competitor products and industry news.
  • Driven to beat competition by acting fast with new ideas executed superbly.
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communicator who enjoys and is confident presenting to large groups.
  • Very focused, organised and operates with a high level of discipline.
  • Able to drive and willing to travel long distances when required including staying over when needed.
  • A team player, driven to succeed but never at a colleague’s expense.
  • Self-motivated: Go the extra mile; always push for more and set higher, braver targets.
  • A passion for the nail industry, have a deep and intimate knowledge of beauty.
  • Collaborates easily with others, sharing information and adapts to different working styles.
