The Role
We are looking for a Brand Manager to join the dynamic marketing team working on the Retail Hair (RH) brands. You will have full ownership of selected brands within our Retail Hair portfolio in the UK, building ground‑breaking campaigns and turning bold ideas into action. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, you will demonstrate a challenger brand mentality, relentlessly drive understanding of the UK consumer and shopper, and make your love for our brands infectious.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the local vision for your brand initiative, aligned with global strategy and local market requirements.
- Take full ownership of brand projects, including growth‑driving recommendations across media planning, in‑store activation, and breakthrough digital activation.
- Lead the execution of core brand annual support and NPD launches.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams—including Sales, Digital, Finance, and Supply—to drive productivity, ensure seamless execution, and meet KPIs.
- Ensure Sales, Supply, and agency teams are set up for success to deliver against sales and profit targets.
- Stay informed on key trends in media, retail media and the in‑store landscape.
- Influence global brand teams to deliver mid‑ and long‑term plans for UK success.
- Contribute to internal meetings, brand reviews, and campaign planning sessions.
- Influence senior stakeholders with clear, compelling recommendations and performance updates.
- Own the creation and adaptation of brand assets across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Develop Pencil A mastery, championing agile content creation and optimisation to drive performance.
- Collaborate with the content lead and channel teams to deliver high‑impact, channel‑relevant assets.
- Lead annual and tactical briefings, aligning with commercial goals and ensuring strong ROI across channels.
- Balance investment across paid, owned, earned and performance media, optimising for short‑term results and long‑term brand equity.
- Partner with media and retail media teams to ensure plans are data‑driven and responsive.
- Work closely with the CCI team to brief and interpret insights for fast, informed decision making.
- Translate consumer trends and data into actionable strategies and innovation opportunities.
- Drive NPD gate management, ensuring robust processes and timely delivery.
- Lead development of full P&L business cases, collaborating with Category, CCI, SRM, Finance, Supply and Sales teams.
- Champion consumer‑first innovation grounded in insight and market opportunity.
- Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to delight and excite customers, build strategic partnerships and secure product listings.
- Partner with key customers to activate their digital platforms and drive product trial and conversion.
- Provide regular analysis and reporting of business performance data (sell‑in, sell‑out, consumer panel), competitor tracking and EPOS.
- Recommend actions that drive future brand growth.
- Collaborate with the Comms team to activate influencer, social and PR strategies.
- Work with the E‑com/Retail media lead to build a digital ecosystem and always‑on plans, including NPD/initiative‑specific activations.
- Demonstrate mastery of your brands’ P&L, identifying opportunities to drive top and bottom line growth.
- Manage the full A&CP budget for your brands, monitoring and communicating spend in line with agreed levels.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with energy, enthusiasm and strong stakeholder management skills. You should have a passion for brand building and beauty—especially hair categories. You thrive on owning projects and driving them forward, ensuring the UK market is recognised for best‑in‑class execution.

- Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience at ABM/BM level within FMCG—preferably Health & Beauty.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of brand management in a retail environment.
- Commercial acumen and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines independently.
- Ownership mindset with problem‑solving initiative.
- Analytical skills and experience interpreting data.
- Strong relationship‑building skills; a true team player.
- Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
