ROLE
We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our dynamic and passionate brand team. This role will see you supporting new ground-breaking campaigns and bringing bold ideas to life. Reporting to a Senior Brand Manager, the remit of this role includes oversight of our in-store and media brand activations. To ensure you have a good grounding in brand performance, you will also be actively involved in brand tracking and analysis, shaping insights and actions for growth. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate hunger for learning and trialing new things, desire to understand the UK consumer and shopper better, and ability to make your love for our brands infectious. Your work and commitment will ensure that our business achieves sales, profit, and market share objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In Store POS & Retailer media
    • Leads instore perm and temp POS design and production.
    • Works with global team to ensure the timely delivery of suitable assets for in-store campaigns.
    • Manages budget & challenges the costs when working with agencies to ensure execution is at optimal cost level.
    • Refines activity to improve ROIs so successes can be implemented and shared with the business.
  • Digital media
    • Leads the implementation of digital plans for brand campaigns (key deliverables: assets matrix).
    • Work with the Global teams to ensure we receive fit-for-purpose, winning content that delivers on at least 80% of our local requirements.
    • Partner with the comms team to select the strongest Influencer Marketing content for amplification in paid.
    • Collaborate with brand, sales, and trade teams to facilitate media tagging (securing trade back from >75% of media).
  • Ecom brand visibility
    • Lead on digital conversations with customers and support with relevant content for their platforms.
    • Ownership of CARS - Content, Assortments, Reviews & Search (tracking, improvement, and content implementation).
    • Ratings & reviews campaign management.
    • Plan and track /optimize always on search.
  • Consumer / Customer events
    • Work with the Brand, Trade and National Account Managers to help develop and deliver brand presentations at retailer strategy meetings.
    • Support brand team with organizing events and ad hoc key meetings.
    • Translate insights / category data into action to support retailer sell-ins.
  • Analysis
    • Conduct ad-hoc performance analysis and reporting sales and shoppers' data (e.g. Nielsen, Kantar etc.).
    • Track competitors' activity and industry trends, sharing key learnings with internal teams.
  • Communication & Best Practice Sharing
    • Be a champion for our brands, maintaining regular dialogue cross-functionally to drive the brand plans in the relevant channels.
    • Conduct regular store visits and track competitor activity striving for best in class/disruptive communication.

Must have:

  • Previous Marketing / E-com experience.
  • Experience working with UK retailers.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Proven Project Management & budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with track record of building strong relationships/collaboration.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset.
  • A "can do" attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Assistant Brand Manager FMCG with 1-2 years' experience.

Education:
Educated to degree level - Marketing/Business/Management desirable.
