Salary: New role - dependent on experience
Are you working in Application Support, Business Systems or Technical Business Analysis and looking for an opportunity to move into AI and Automation?
Well Street are proud to be exclusively partnering a major European organisation in an exciting part of their growth journey to recruit an AI Analyst.
Our client is at an exciting stage of its technology journey. Having invested in AI and automation tools, the business is now looking for someone who can help turn that investment into meaningful improvements in how people work.
This isn't a traditional AI Developer position. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, solving problems and finding smarter ways of doing things using technology.
You'll work closely with the IT Director and teams across the business, identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual tasks and introduce practical AI and automation solutions.
It's an opportunity to take ownership, experiment with new technologies and play an important role in shaping how AI is adopted across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Working with colleagues across Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to understand how they work and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Reviewing existing business applications, workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and repetitive tasks.
- Designing and building practical automation and AI-enabled solutions that make everyday activities easier and more efficient.
- Supporting the adoption of AI tools, helping colleagues understand how they can use them effectively.
- Working with data across business applications, including ERP, CRM and Excel, to improve reporting, accuracy and accessibility.
- Using tools such as SQL, Python, APIs and automation platforms to connect systems, manipulate data and streamline processes.
- Developing reports and dashboards, including Power BI, to help teams make better-informed decisions.
- Testing, documenting and improving solutions to ensure they're reliable, secure and easy to use.
- Becoming a key point of contact for colleagues looking to explore how AI and automation could improve their work.
What we're looking for
We're open to candidates from a range of technical backgrounds, particularly Application Support, Business Systems, Technical Business Analysis or Automation.
More important than your job title is your ability to understand problems, work with people and use technology to develop practical solutions.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Around 2β5 years' experience in Application Support, Business Systems, Business Analysis, Data Analysis or a similar technical role.
- Experience supporting or working with business applications such as ERP, CRM or other enterprise systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how technology supports business processes.
- Some hands-on experience with scripting, SQL, Python, APIs or workflow automation.
- Practical experience experimenting with or applying AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or similar in a business environment.
- Confidence working directly with non-technical colleagues to understand requirements and explain solutions.
- An interest in improving processes rather than simply maintaining existing systems.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
Experience with Power BI, automation platforms or integrating AI into business workflows would be advantageous, but you don't need to be an expert in everything.
Interested?
If you're a technically minded problem-solver who enjoys finding better ways of doing things and wants to build a career in AI and automation, we'd love to hear from you.
You don't need to have AI in your current job title. We're equally interested in people who've taken the initiative to automate processes, improve systems or experiment with new technologies in their existing roles.
