We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Adelaide Street in Northampton. This community pharmacy is commutable from surrounding towns, cities and villages and is located next to a health centre with which it has a good relationship.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
- It dispenses 2000 items a week.
- It provides a wide range of services including weight management, travel vaccinations, chicken pox, HPV, men’s mental health, flu and covid vaccinations, NMS, blood pressure and pharmacy first.
- It provides services to 20 substance misuse patients.
- It dispenses 20 community blisters.
This pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 5 pharmacy assistants.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity. You’ll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers. You’ll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits. We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers. We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
