The focus of the role is on managing a business’ day-to-day financial and accounting needs including bookkeeping, record keeping, tracking, and reconciling company business accounts.

Objectives of this role:
In the Bookkeeper role, you will be responsible for managing company financial tasks such as managing receivables and ensuring all company invoices are properly recorded, tracked, approved, and paid. You will work closely with company financial professionals management, and outside vendors. Success in this role will be demonstrated through accurate payment and financial transaction processing.
Roles & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Paying regular bills for our clients
- Maintaining company ledgers, reconciliation, and journals
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Compile and update all production finance information (production budget, cost reports, cash flow, and edit schedules)
- Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments
- Invoicing deliveries and paying vendors for their goods and services
- Preparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materials
- Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
- Maintaining petty cash
- Correspondence and meetings with clients
- Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
- Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
- Traveling to the location production offices where required
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- The high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
