If you're excited by building reliable software and improving how teams deliver with AI — bringing strong judgement, a learning mindset, and collaborative delivery habits — this role is built for you. We welcome diverse experiences and perspectives and we'd love to hear from you.

Your Mission...

  • Deliver high-quality software end-to-end inside a pod — using agentic development tooling as your default workflow, adapting across stacks as workstream priorities shift, and shipping confidently without needing a narrow specialism to lean on.

The Impact You'll Have:

  • Deliver end-to-end features with appropriate automated tests, telemetry, and documentation so teams can ship confidently and operate reliably.
  • Increase delivery speed without sacrificing quality by using AI coding agents effectively and validating outputs with strong review discipline.
  • Reduce friction in the AI-assisted delivery cycle by contributing reusable prompts, playbooks, and automation for repetitive work.
  • Strengthen predictable delivery by collaborating with Product and QA, communicating blockers early, and delivering to commitments.
  • Raise the engineering bar inside the pod through tooling improvements, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement beyond ticket delivery.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Build & ship end to end: Deliver features end-to-end: Design and implement across API, data, and UI layers as the workstream demands — with appropriate automated tests, telemetry, and documentation.
  • Operate as a T-shaped Pod Contributor: Go deep enough in the pod's primary stack to ship confidently; pair across adjacent areas when needed.
  • Adapt to unfamiliar codebases and stacks: Read and contribute to code you didn't write, in languages and frameworks you may not have used before.

Deliver with AI-assisted engineering judgement:

  • Use agentic tooling as your default workflow: Direct AI coding agents effectively, review AI-generated output critically, and know when to step in manually. Contribute to pod-level prompt patterns and automation of repetitive work.
  • Embed AIDLC practices within the pod: Contribute to AI-assisted development lifecycle adoption — including validation checkpoints, prompt libraries, and continuous improvement of the AI-assisted delivery cycle.
  • Invest in what moves the needle: Keep delivery rituals lean and fit for purpose; spend the rest staying current with agentic tooling, sharing what you learn, and cutting friction out of the AI-assisted delivery cycle.

Operate as a strong pod teammate:

  • Collaborate across functions: Work with Product, QA, and stakeholders to estimate predictably, communicate blockers early, and deliver to commitments.
  • Contribute beyond ticket delivery: Tooling choices, internal automation, knowledge sharing, and raising the engineering bar inside the pod.
  • Additional duties: Perform other duties as reasonably required by Management to meet business needs.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production code.
  • Production experience in at least one mainstream language — TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, Go, or close equivalent. Stack agnosticism matters more than any specific language.
  • Active daily use of an AI coding agent (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, or equivalent) in a professional context, with AI-assisted code shipped to production. Able to articulate, with concrete examples, where agentic tooling accelerates delivery and where it introduces risk.
  • Solid fundamentals: version control (Git), automated testing (unit and integration), CI/CD basics, observability signals (logs, metrics, traces), security and privacy hygiene.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working in small pods and across pod boundaries.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, or public sector).
  • Exposure to AWS serverless, Oracle/PL-SQL, .NET, or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Track record of contributing to engineering practice beyond ticket delivery — internal tooling, automation, or knowledge sharing.

Our Competencies:

  • Integrity
  • Energy & Drive
  • Initiative
  • Domain Expertise
  • Resilience
  • Execution
  • Customer Centric
  • Team Building
