We’re looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor who leads by example and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll spend most of your shift serving guests while taking responsibility for ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the restaurant floor during service..
- Working as an active waiter, delivering exceptional customer service..
- Handling guest complaints professionally and resolving issues confidently..
- Supporting, motivating and guiding the front of house team throughout service..
- Ensuring service standards are consistently maintained..
- Completing the nightly cash‑up and cash reconciliation..
- Closing the restaurant at the end of service and ensuring all procedures are completed correctly..
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and bar to keep service running efficiently..
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor, Senior Waiter or Team Leader in a busy restaurant..
- Excellent customer service and communication skills..
- Confidence dealing with complaints and difficult situations..
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail..
- Reliable, trustworthy and comfortable taking responsibility for closing the venue..
- Positive attitude with the ability to lead by example..
