About the role

If you’ve ever said “this tweet would bang” out loud… Welcome! You’ll fit right in to this role.

I’m hiring a Social Media Content Manager to help turn our expert-level email marketing strategies into authority-based social content. You’ll write daily Instagram swipes, craft punchy and valuable tweets, strategize and write short form videos, strategize YouTube videos, and help me generate leads on LinkedIn.

If you’re obsessed with social media, understand content hooks and retention, and love writing fast, clean, value-packed posts… this role is for you.

It’s important to understand that we care about getting clients… not chasing views.

Background

I run an ecommerce email and sms marketing agency. We partner up with brands to help them sell more through their email and sms channels. We have roughly 100 clients and 70 team members and have 5x’d in size over the past 12 months, primarily driven by my social media content.

I follow the Alex Hormozi approach of give give give give. The amount of value that has been posted on my social media could be sold for tens of thousands of dollars. Eventually people will enter my newsletter and book a call there.

The posting schedule goes as follows:

  • YouTube video once per week
  • Newsletters three times per week
  • LinkedIn post once per weekday
  • Instagram carousel post once per day
  • Instagram short form once per day
  • Tweets three times per day + three retweets from past tweets
What You’ll Do
  • Write Daily Instagram Swipes
  • Create 1 carousel post per day around tactical email marketing content repurposed from my past and ongoing content.
  • Write 1 Unique Tweet Per Day
  • Short-form or long-form writing that builds authority and drives engagement in the ecommerce/email space.
  • Strategize YouTube Content
  • Collaborate on ideas, titles, structure, and thumbnails to optimize performance and retention.
  • Help Prompt LinkedIn Posts
  • Turn weekly ideas into content prompts, raw outlines, or post drafts for our founder.
  • Drive Short-Form Video Strategy
  • Pitch new short-form ideas weekly, write scripts, and organize content for the editing team.
  • Pull Reports & Optimize
  • Analyze weekly content performance across platforms. Suggest ideas based on what’s working.
You’ll Thrive If You…
  • Have at least a base understanding of email, sms, and ecommerce.
  • Have written for founders before in a professional setting to drive leads.
  • Understand social strategy and content pacing (hooks, CTAs, storytelling, trends)
  • Are fluent in Twitter, IG, LinkedIn, and YouTube (and ideally a little obsessed)
  • Know how to go viral while still educating people on complex topics
Why Join Us?
  • We have grown from 15 team members to 70 team members in the past 12 months, the fastest in the ecommerce email marketing space
  • We work with some of the top brands in the space and you will be able to say you drove these brands in
  • We’ve generated over $150M for our clients.
  • We drive 100 calls per month with 7-9 figure brands through our content
  • Our founder has grown his socials by himself to 55k followers on Instagram, 17k followers on Twitter, and 12k subscribers on YouTube.
