Our team is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Technician to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents' dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities of the Catering Technician:
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment.
- Preparation of meals for service.
- Prepare food and ingredients for service.
- Managing stock, placing food orders and keeping within budget.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues involved in the meal service.
Desirable Skills and Experience of the Catering Technician:

- Catering/cooking experience.
