Job title:Senior Immigration Compliance Officer - UKVI Sponsorship and Audit
Location: Wheathampstead (Head Office), with regular travel to Care Homes across the country
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR & Sponsorship Compliance Specialist to oversee HR compliance, UKVI sponsorship requirements and immigration-related risk management. You will lead internal audits, manage complex sponsorship cases and advise senior management, ensuring the organisation meets its sponsor licence obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee UKVI sponsor licence compliance and Sponsor Management System (SMS) activities.
- Lead internal audits and ensure accurate records and compliance with Home Office requirements.
- Manage complex sponsorship cases, reporting obligations and visa expiry monitoring.
- Identify compliance risks, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Advise senior management and HR teams on sponsorship matters and regulatory changes.
- Prepare for Home Office compliance visits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Develop policies, procedures and training to strengthen compliance standards.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in HR compliance, immigration sponsorship or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UKVI sponsor licence duties and right-to-work requirements.
- Experience conducting audits and managing complex compliance issues.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
