Hours: 36 hours (including weekend working) – Nights
We’re seeking a qualified registered nurse to lead and support our care team at the care home. You’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing development to progress your career.
Who We’re Looking For
- Valid RGN NMC Registration.
- Previous experience within a similar setting is desirable but not essential.
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A clear understanding of CQC standards/legislation.
- Strong leadership, highly clinically skilled, well organised, able to take the lead.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience with PCS and electronic care planning.
- Able to inspire, motivate and lead by example.
- Flexible approach to the rota to meet the needs of the home.

How You’ll Make a Difference
- Provide high quality nursing care to residents.
- Responsible for clinical assessment of residents, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated, involving residents and users.
- Promote the rights, interests, needs and choices of carers and people with dementia in planning, delivery and evaluation of care.
- Liaise with GPs, case managers, primary health care practitioners, statutory and voluntary agencies to support residents.
- Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to residents/carers and the multidisciplinary team, especially where difficulties in comprehension occur.
- Maintain clinical records and provide verbal and written feedback appropriately to carers and persons with dementia and other professionals.
- Utilise IT systems to secure accurate and timely resident, workforce and resource data.
- Integrate current knowledge of dementia and caring, informed by research.
