At our Care Home, you will be responsible for running the kitchen and meal experience for our elderly residents.
Responsibilities- Design a varied and nourishing menu that supports residents’ nutritional needs and reflects their tastes.
- Run the nursing home kitchen and manage mealtimes to ensure a high-quality experience for residents.
- Maintain the highest food standards and ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
- Lead, support, train and direct the kitchen team; mentor and motivate the team on quality, safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Assist the General Manager in developing and managing the department’s budget and resources.

You should have recent experience of cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting. You must have previously managed and motivated a catering team. You’ll have experience of providing food for people with special dietary requirements. We’d like someone who is flexible, who can work alternate weekends. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
How You’ll Make a DifferenceYou’ll be responsible for our residents’ meal experience and running the nursing home’s kitchen. Leading and supporting a team, you will:
