Role Description: OSCE Trainer (London)

Job Type: Contract

Location: London (Hybrid – onsite sessions with remote preparation permitted)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OSCE Trainer to join our academic team in London. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) training for international nurses and healthcare professionals preparing for UK registration.

You will play a key role in supporting candidates through their clinical skills assessments, offering expert guidance and structured feedback, and contributing to the continuous development of our OSCE training programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive OSCE training sessions aligned with current NMC OSCE standards
• Provide individualized and group feedback to enhance learner performance
• Develop and update training materials, including role-play scripts, clinical checklists, and skills demonstration videos
• Assess learner progress and readiness for OSCE exams through mock assessments
• Support learners in building confidence and competency across all OSCE domains
• Collaborate with the academic and administrative team to ensure training quality and consistency
• Participate in quality assurance and standardization meetings

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering OSCE training, preferably in alignment with NMC test of competence
• In-depth knowledge of adult nursing clinical skills, assessment frameworks, and UK healthcare practices
• Strong ability to provide constructive, compassionate feedback
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Level 3 in Education and Training, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Nursing registration (UK or International)
• Ability to work both onsite in and around London and remotely as required
• Experience in healthcare education, clinical mentorship, or nurse coaching is an advantage
