We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Service Driver/Operative to help us deliver excellent service to our customers by maintaining and servicing welfare units at sites and depots.
As a Service Driver/Operative you'll be responsible for maintaining welfare units, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and fully operational. This includes servicing toilets, refilling water, restocking consumables, and general cleaning duties.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Operate commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
- Attend customer sites to service welfare units
- Carry out toilet pump-outs, water refills, restocking, and cleaning
- Add toilet additives and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Pump out depot holding tanks as required
- Daily waste disposal at local authority discharge points
- Complete all paperwork and system reports with supporting photographs
- Adhere to site rules and health & safety procedures
- Attend scheduled training courses
- Assist with general depot duties including cleaning and basic maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence (B+E category preferred)
- Previous driving experience essential
- Commercial cleaning experience desirable
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Strong organisational and route planning skills
- Comfortable using GPS and handheld devices
- High attention to detail and computer literate
- Respectful, safety-conscious, and customer-focused
- Patience and good communication skills
