Salary and working hours
Salary: Meridian Support Staff Pay Scale Grade 6 point 7 to 12
Actual Annual Salary - £19,918 to £21,574 (FTE £26,403 to £28,598)
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week — Monday, Thursday, Friday 8.30am–3.15pm; Tuesday 8.30am–3.45pm; Wednesday 8.15am–3.45pm
Term time plus 5 dedicated staff training days (39 weeks)

Responsibilities
The role is to deliver effective lessons when teachers are unavailable to teach their normal lessons. The teachers plan and prepare the lesson, so you don’t have to be an expert, but it requires flexibility, confidence and adaptability; the ability to switch between subjects as needed. The successful candidate will be organised, friendly, have an excellent manner with young people and a good sense of humour.
We are not seeking an expert in every subject, but someone who can deliver a wide variety of lessons across the curriculum with confidence and empathy. It is a challenging but rewarding post that allows you to become an integral part of the team quickly and gain meaningful experience within a school.
