About the role: As an LGV1 Driver, you'll keep our retail operation flowing by ensuring our stock is in the right place at the right time for our customers. Based out of one of our national or regional distribution centres, you'll be transporting goods right across our supply chain network and shops in one of our 44t articulated lorries.
Responsibilities:
- Transport goods across our supply chain network and shops.
- Represent the John Lewis Partnership brand by demonstrating courteous and professional behaviour.
- Manage a diverse team of transport office staff and drivers.
Roles available: Customer Deliver Hub Driver - Driver Trainee & Installer Trainee.
Location: Crossways CDH (Dartford) - Permanent.
Salary: £32,002 (Annual) & £38,495 (Annually). This is a permanent role and the salary is £12.45ph rising to £15.15. On completion of the apprenticeship (End Point / Gateway), your hourly rate will increase to £18.20. You will work alongside a driver mentor who will be an experienced member of the driving team.
Minimum Requirements: All applicants must be over 18 to apply. Expected starting rates for a Customer Delivery Hub Driver Trainee will be £32,002. Salary of £48,533 - £69,733 GBP pa, inclusive of a night shift premium. Hours of work are 22:00 - 06:00, 5 days a week, including weekends on rotation.
