Welcome Furniture is a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of high-quality, ready-assembled furniture, delivering complete FF&E packages to the residential and student accommodation sectors. As our project portfolio continues to grow, we’re looking for an experiencedSenior Project Manager to lead the on-site delivery of multiple complex installation projects nationwide.
About the Role
AsSenior Project Manager , you’ll take responsibility for all on-site activity across multiple concurrent FF&E installation projects. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will lead a team of Project Managers, ensuring that each project is delivered safely, on time, to specification, and to a snag-free standard.
You will act as the senior on-site lead for our clients and principal contractors, ensuring operational excellence, programme adherence, and high-quality handovers, room by room.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site FF&E installation activity across multiple projects.
- Oversee and support a team of Project Managers, ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across all sites.
- Drive programme delivery, with a focus on snag-free, client-ready handovers.
- Act as the senior point of contact for site-level client interactions and issue resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, site protocols, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Contract Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing multi-site FF&E, fit-out, or furniture installation projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising site-based teams.
- Excellent understanding of site logistics, sequencing, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
- A detail-driven mindset with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
- Ideally, from ajoinery or furniture installation background .
- Health & Safety qualifications such asSMSTS, SSSTS, NEBOSH, or equivalent .
- CSCS card and full UK driving licence (preferred).
