This position is a key role within Welcome Break, supporting the Finance Systems Project Analyst whilst being part of the FP&A team. The role will be responsible for all aspects of system administrator duties including security and creation/maintenance of reporting. By being a subject matter expert in all Finance Systems, the role will provide system training for end users and advise on best practice. The role will further extend into providing support on projects within the Finance System Transformation programme. The role will work closely with the wider Finance department and IT.
Responsibilities:
- Administration and maintenance of all Finance Software (Xmpro, SUN Cloud, Info Q&A, Proactis)
- Perform weekly/monthly closure on Xmpro.
- Maintain and manage request for change to master data (new units/mapping of brands)
- Assist the Finance Systems Team with Sun master data updates, including Chart of Accounts, Analysis Codes.
- Support Sun users with error message resolution.
- Perform month end system checks (held journals, TB, P&L discrepancies)
- Expert user/SME for all Financial Systems
- Ensure data integrity across all Financial Systems
- Recommend and introduce controls across Finance Systems
- Conducting Finance systems security reviews with Finance Systems Manager and IT
- Report building and maintenance across Finance Systems
- Ensure that the Finance Systems are configured to support any changes to finance processes, following best practice.
- Create and maintain Finance system documentation
- Delivery of system training to new starters and relevant business stakeholders
- Prioritise business requirements into firm actions
- Ad hoc business analysis
- Adherence to deadlines; regular reporting deadlines and project deadlines
- Great communication skills; able to communicate effectively to finance and non-finance colleagues

- Quality and standardisation of documentation
- Quality and performance of solution design
- Business value in the delivered solution
- Requirements traceability: projects meet the objectives of the business case and the requirements defined.
