Responsibilities

  • Managing visitor access in accordance with security and safeguarding procedures.
  • Deal with face to face, telephone and general email enquiries from a range of people including pupils, parents, staff, contractors and other visitors.
  • Receive deliveries and follow internal procedures to distribute efficiently.
  • Take responsibility of the reception area, making sure it is tidy and welcoming.
  • Verify ID documentation of visitors, agency staff and contractors.
  • Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and other Senior Leaders, as directed.
  • Update and maintain management information systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a busy reception or an administrative environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A 'can do' attitude and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
