Location: The Hub (6th Form Centre), Welcombe Hills School, Drayton Avenue, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 9LD. The role will mainly be based at The Hub; however, the post holder may be asked to work at the main school site at Blue Cap Road as and when required.
What we need: We are looking to appoint a professional receptionist/administrator to provide a high-quality service on reception and administrative support to the school. This role is part-time for 25 hours/week, working Monday - Friday. As the first point of contact for the school, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy reception or an administrative environment, have good communication and interpersonal skills, work effectively as part of a team, and have a 'can do' attitude and work with minimal supervision.
The main duties of the role are:
- Managing visitor access in accordance with security and safeguarding procedures
- Dealing with face-to-face, telephone, and general email enquiries from a range of people including pupils, parents, staff, contractors, and other visitors
- Receiving deliveries and following internal procedures to distribute efficiently
- Taking responsibility for the reception area, making sure it is tidy and welcoming
- Verifying ID documentation of visitors, agency staff, and contractors
- Providing administrative support to the Headteacher and other Senior Leaders, as directed
- Updating and maintaining management information systems
