Responsibilities
- Managing visitor access in accordance with security and safeguarding procedures.
- Dealing with face to face, telephone and general email enquiries from a range of people including pupils, parents, staff, contractors and other visitors.
- Receiving deliveries and following internal procedures to distribute efficiently.
- Taking responsibility for the reception area, making sure it is tidy and welcoming.
- Verifying ID documentation of visitors, agency staff and contractors.
- Providing administrative support to the Headteacher and other Senior Leaders, as directed.
- Updating and maintaining management information systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a busy reception or an administrative environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A 'can do' attitude and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
