GP Administrator

The Role
Full-time preferred, but part-time applicants will also be considered.
Are you organised, analytical and detail-focused, with a passion for healthcare? Do you have excellent communication skills and experience working in a healthcare administration or reception environment?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Administrator to join our team in Bottesford.
We are ideally looking for someone to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible office hours between 08:00 and 18:30. However, we are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate and will discuss working hours and flexibility at interview.
What you'll be doing
As a GP Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and processing medical correspondence accurately and efficiently.
- Identifying and assigning appropriate medical codes and information.
- Matching correspondence and clinical information accurately to patient records.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of medical records.
- Communicating effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
- Working with sensitive and confidential patient information.
- Supporting the wider team with healthcare administration as required.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous healthcare administration or reception experience (preferred).
- An understanding of medical terminology and coding (advantageous).
- The ability to work accurately and independently.
- A professional, organised and proactive approach.
- A genuine interest in working within primary healthcare.
