Are you a competent administrator looking for the next step in your career? Do you have previous experience in primary care or are you looking to work in this sector? Brilliant! Come and join our lovely Group Workflow team at the Welby HUB in Bottesford.

Working in the Welby HUB is not your typical primary care experience! The building is a recently converted church in a village setting with the benefits of air‑con and excellent local shops. The building is purely used for practice support services and not for patient contact. The setup is a deliberately open‑planned office to encourage conversations between administrators, clinicians and managers. It's a great environment to work in, where ideas are welcomed, and staff can develop and thrive.

As a Health Administrator/ Care Navigator, we rely on you to provide crucial support to our 5 GP practices. From the HUB you will be managing incoming requests from patients. Patients submit a wide range of requests electronically through askmyGP. With the support of clinicians and managers, you will direct patients to the most appropriate resource, answer patients’ queries and support our clinicians. You will also manage incoming correspondence, coding information and directing letters to the appropriate clinicians or teams mainly through electronic communication, with very little telephone or face‑to‑face contact.

There are 2 part‑time roles in our team:

  • 18 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday from 08:00‑14:00.
  • 12 hours per week, Thursday & Friday between 08:00‑14:00.

Previous experience working in healthcare desirable. Excellent attention to detail ideal.
