About the department

Our Minimally Invasive Treatment Suite within Orthopaedics & Neurology is a highly specialised service supporting image guided procedures that improve patient outcomes and recovery times. The service plays a critical role in delivering safe, effective, and efficient care across a range of orthopaedic, spinal, and pain management interventions. Working closely with consultants, anaesthetists, nursing teams, and wider clinical colleagues, the department ensures procedures are supported by high quality imaging in a controlled, patient‑focused environment. About the role

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant within the Theatre and Procedure Suite, you will play an essential role in supporting the clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care before, during, and after procedures. You will work closely with nurses, consultants, and allied health professionals to ensure the clinical environment is prepared, safe, and well‑equipped. This includes assisting with patient positioning, maintaining sterile fields where appropriate, and supporting with the smooth flow of patients through the department.
