About the role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of healthcare construction projects, overseeing cost control from early feasibility through to final account. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional and regulatory standards. Working closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders, you will provide clear financial leadership, robust commercial advice, and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes mentoring junior quantity surveyors and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a complex construction environment, takes ownership of commercial outcomes, and values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and control project budgets to ensure financial success
- Lead the negotiation, preparation, and administration of construction contracts
