Senior CT & General Radiographer – Welbeck Oxford
£40,000 – £48,000 + Company Benefits.
Jordan Hill | Oxford | Full‑Time | 40 Hours | Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality CT and general radiography examinations, ensuring exceptional patient care and image quality.
- Operate in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17, and local imaging protocols.
- Administer intravenous contrast agents and medications in line with PGDs and departmental procedures.
- Work collaboratively with consultant radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
- Support a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, with opportunities to develop specialist skills.
- Contribute to quality assurance programmes, equipment checks, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior radiographers and students as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and utilise RIS/PACS and other imaging systems effectively.
- Participate in audits, governance activities, and ongoing quality improvement projects.
- Maintain professional registration and CPD, keeping up to date with advancements in imaging practice.
Qualifications
- HCPC registered.
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
- 3+ years post‑grad UK experience in CT and rotation between CT, general X‑ray and theatres.
- Cardiac CT and CT colonography experience desired but not essential.
- Paediatrics experience desired but not essential.
