Upholsterer Location: Pontefract, Wakefield Road Pay: £14.85 per hour + performance bonus Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:30pm | Friday 7:00am–11:00am We are currently recruiting for an experienced Upholsterer to join a growing UK furniture manufacturer in Pontefract on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role You will be responsible for upholstering a range of furniture from frame to finished product, ensuring a high-quality finish while meeting production targets. Duties include: Upholstering furniture from frame to completion Using staple guns, drills and hand tools Working from drawings and upholstery specifications Cutting, sewing, padding, webbing, fitting and finishing Repairing and re-upholstering furniture where required Working to production deadlines and quality standards Following Health & Safety procedures About You Ideally 1+ year’s furniture upholstery experience Good knowledge of upholstery techniques Confident using upholstery tools and machinery Excellent attention to detail Reliable, hardworking and able to meet deadlines Benefits £14.85 per hour Performance bonus – potential to earn up to £110 per week Additional discretionary bonus scheme 23 days' holiday + bank holidays Long-service additional holidays Option to purchase extra annual leave Free on-site parking Social events and Christmas Savings Club Permanent, full-time position If you’re an experienced Upholsterer looking for a stable role with excellent earning potential, apply today
