We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and long-established textile manufacturer based in Leeds.
Renowned for producing high-quality woven textiles, our client has built an excellent reputation within the industry and continues to invest in both its people and manufacturing capabilities.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Loom Tuner / Overlooker to join their skilled production team.

The Role
As a Loom Tuner / Overlooker, you will be responsible for ensuring weaving looms are operating efficiently, producing high-quality fabric and achieving production targets.
Your duties will include
- Setting up, tuning and maintaining weaving looms.
- Monitoring loom performance and making adjustments to maximise efficiency.
- Diagnosing and resolving loom faults to minimise downtime.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and machine adjustments.
- Working closely with Weavers and other production staff to maintain production flow.
- Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
- Identifying opportunities to improve machine performance and productivity.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have
- Previous experience working as a Loom Tuner, Overlooker or in a similar role within the textile industry.
- Strong knowledge of weaving machinery and textile manufacturing processes.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
