Textiles Operative in Dewsbury

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join a well established and rapid growing textiles mill in Bradford.

Duties

• Set up and operate machines according to job sheet and standard operating procedures.
• Checking products for defects and making necessary adjustments.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Any multi-skilled experience in other textile departments such as weaving, or fabric inspection would help a candidate be successful.

Requirements

• Proven experience within a textiles mill
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Experience with materials handling in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
