Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire (Hybrid working available)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday- Friday)

Salary: £27,000 per annum

We are looking for a passionate individual to join the team, to help us grow and shape the exciting journey we are on.

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. You will support the creative team in producing high quality visual content for both digital and print channels. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Ecommerce teams to ensure brand consistency and deliver engaging designs that resonate with our audience.

Your key areas of focus:

  • Assist in the creation of digital assets including website banners, email campaigns, social media graphics, and paid ads.
  • Support the design of print materials such as in store signage, packaging, and lookbooks.
  • Collaborate with the wider creative team to brainstorm and execute seasonal campaigns and product launches.
  • Maintain brand guidelines across all design outputs.
  • Prepare artwork for production and liaise with printers or external vendors when needed.
  • Stay up to date with fashion and design trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.

What our Shoal needs:

  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative and commercial design work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, layout, and colour.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fashion and an understanding of retail branding.
  • Skills in photography, video editing, or creative storytelling.
  • Knowledge of building emails on email marketing and marketing automation platforms.
