We are seeking a talented Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team. The role is to support the business growth and manage our relationships with our key partners, to maximise profit and optimise our stock across the business. You will be highly organised, with an eye for detail and strong Excel skills.
Your key areas of focus:
- Planning allocation strategies in line with stock and availability/launch requirements.
- The ability to analyse data to gain insights and make recommendations and proposals in line with the current trading plan of the business.
- Manage relationships with key partners and manage our stock across the business to maximise profit.
- Supporting with markdown and promotions and analysis.
- Support our retail estate, managing weekly meetings.
- Monitor and optimise stock holdings in line with company strategy.
- Support managing the logistics process from origin to our distribution centre.
- Provide key analysis and key findings to the merchandise team and run weekly reporting for the business.
