The predicted salary is between 25 - 40 £ per hour.

The Rubber Liner & Material Handler will split their time between rubber lining responsibilities and material handling responsibilities. They will carry out rubber lining processes according to standard safety procedures and are responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to achieve accuracy with laying, lining, and applying rubber on product. They will also be staging materials for Hose Builders, keeping inventory count, and making sure incoming and outgoing stock and materials are up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Product: Prepare pipes and hoses for application of rubber lining by rolling or painting interior surfaces after the sandblasting operation has been completed.
  • Rubber Lining & Read Blueprint Drawings: Apply rubber to interior surfaces by following instructions, drawings and sketches provided. Use a layout table to lay out rubber components according to the specified drawings that will dictate tolerances on a blueprint drawing.
  • Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and handling of material within the facility as required using cranes and forklifts.
  • Inventory Management: Keep inventory count and make sure stock is up to date. Track and follow materials that are coming in and investigate when there are any potential delays.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hands on, manual labor type role.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift.
  • Inventory management experience.
