Work Arrangement - This position is a fixed-term opportunity for up to 18 months, providing maternity cover within the team. About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded finance leader to head up our FP&A function across the EMEA region. This is a critical role, shaping how we plan, forecast and drive performance across a diverse and fast-paced market. Leading a regional team, you’ll take ownership of forecasting, budgeting and long-term strategic planning, alongside delivering insightful financial analysis and supporting commercial reporting. Your work will directly influence decision-making at a senior level and help steer the business towards its growth ambitions. You’ll collaborate closely with finance colleagues and key stakeholders across the Minerals Division, driving consistency, best practice and continuous improvement in FP&A and reporting processes across the region.
What you’ll do
- Commercial Reporting and Analysis: Lead the review, reporting, and analysis of EMEA business performance through month-end processes. Collaborate with finance and business leaders to prepare monthly variance analysis and engage with stakeholders to optimise business performance. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Forecasting, Budgeting and Planning: Establish and lead standardized forecast and budget processes for the EMEA region. Manage preparation of forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic financial plans. Engage with business and finance leaders to ensure timely reviews and feedback. Prepare presentations related to budgets and forecasts.
- Team Leadership & Transformation: Drive FP&A transformation across EMEA by standardizing and optimizing processes. Develop a high-performing FP&A team aligned with business needs. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of development and clear accountability.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel within the EMEA region to engage with regional teams and stakeholders as needed.

What you’ll bring
- Must-haves: Proven leadership experience in FP&A within complex, multi-jurisdictional organizations. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management software (SAP preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification preferred. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills with ability to synthesize complex data.
- Nice-to-haves: Chartered Accountant qualification (not essential). Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Familiarity with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, Oracle.
