What you’ll do
- Customer Service & Order Management: Provide proactive service to key external customers by handling inquiries, raising quotations within 24 hours, converting orders, and ensuring timely delivery. Daily tasks include answering calls, investigating quotations, processing orders, and maintaining strong orderbook management. Success means accurate, timely order processing and delighted customers.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Supply Chain team and other departments to provide proactive progress updates and resolve customer issues efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to improve customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Adhere to Weir Minerals Europe’s standard operating procedures and pricing policies. Support continuous development and adoption of new processes, guide colleagues, and contribute to global standardization efforts.
- Data & Financial Management: Maintain accurate Salesforce opportunities, improve customer master data quality, manage debtor accounts, and support billing plans including proforma invoices.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
- Must-haves: Proven experience in a customer-focused administration role with sales or internal sales skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a dynamic and professional approach. Commercial awareness with the ability to support profitability and work accurately under pressure. Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
- Nice-to-haves: Experience working in a fast-paced, challenging environment with the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong team player with self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Previous exposure to mining or industrial sectors. Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
