Location: This position is based in our Bannockburn and Schaumburg offices as the Medical Assistant travels daily to the office where the physician sees patients; local travel may be required to other locations within your assigned geographic region.

Reports To: Practice Operations Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the physician to provide high-quality patient care and support daily clinical operations.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
  • Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
  • Sterilize instruments and set up in-office procedure trays
  • Manage medical supplies and materials and work with their operational leader to order necessary inventory
  • Take x-rays
  • Perform administrative tasks and become cross‑trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support when needed
  • Other duties are to support the physician and team with patient care activities

Qualifications / Education / Critical Skills:

  • 2 years in a healthcare field preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Possess good communication and strong customer service skills
  • Self‑directed and willing to take initiative

Scheduling:

  • Monday (SB) 8:00am - 12:30pm
  • Tuesday (BB) 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • Wednesday (SB) 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • Thursday (BB) 8:00am - 12:30pm
  • Friday (BB) 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday (Weeks 2 & 4) 8:00am-12:30pm
