Position Description for WW Studio Coach

Reports To: Area Manager

Location/Department: Studio-based

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Driving Member Recruitment/Retention and WW Business
    • Leverage personal connections to encourage member retention, ensuring interactions and workshops align with WW brand standards.
    • Deliver excellent experience to drive member referrals and workshop growth.
    • Cultivate member engagement with WW program and tools, ensuring member satisfaction with in‑workshop experience.
    • Leverage social media and internal platforms to engage with the WW community and support workshop growth and member retention.
    • Identify members’ needs and goals through effective questioning skills and active listening, tailoring recommendations of WW programmes and offerings.
    • Provide follow‑up and support to encourage members to return to the workshop and engage with the brand.

Delivering Workshop Experience

  • Inspire members to adopt healthy habits, celebrate progress, and achieve weight health goals through genuine, caring interactions.
  • Foster a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe community for WW members to connect.
  • Build rapport through one‑to‑one and group interactions, sharing relevant tools and knowledge, and promoting awareness of choices.
  • Act as an expert in WW’s scientifically‑proven methodology (moving, mindset, food program) for healthy habits, weight loss, and holistic wellness.
  • Personalise experiences through active listening, open questioning to understand the “why,” and meaningful conversations about wellness goals.
  • Host interactive workshop discussions using coaching and facilitation to ensure all members feel included and part of the community.
  • Provide superior hospitality and personalised service during wellness check‑ins.
  • Have expert knowledge of all WW programmes.
  • Prepare for workshops by understanding the weekly topic’s relevance to members’ goals.
  • Remain current on all WW training, products, and wellness/diet trends.
  • Perform required administrative and workshop operational tasks.

Community Involvement

  • Actively seek opportunities in the community to build on‑brand partnerships, attract new members, and create brand awareness.
  • Act as a WW brand ambassador and anticipate community needs.
  • Build strong connections within the community and execute WW marketing locally as required.

Job Factors/Work Environment

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform some work from home.
  • Ability/willingness to work in multiple locations within designated travel area.

  • Experience in using social media platforms (e.g. Facebook and Instagram).
  • Superior customer service experience.
  • Facilitation experience or prior coaching skills.

  • Excellent active listening and communication skills.
  • Computer skills (Google & Microsoft Office suite, web‑based applications).
