Key duties and responsibilities Opening and maintaining client files, including preparing client care documentation.
Requesting searches.
Obtaining Land Registry documents, preparing protocol forms and contract packs.
Preparing and amending legal documents, correspondence and completion statements.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
Handling Land Registry applications and requisitions.
Preparing and submitting SDLT returns to HMRC Dealing with post completion formalities on leasehold assignments.
