Senior Administration Assistant in Leeds

Our Local Government Casualty team provides a full, expert service in defending public (PL) and employers' liability (EL) claims, across the public sector. Weightmans' team is second-to-none in providing defendant litigation services in these and other specialist Local Government Casualty areas. We operate on a national basis with dedicated public sector teams.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Administration Assistant you will be report to your Team Manager and you will play an integral role in the efficient running of the team. You will assist the case handlers in the team with all finance related actions and liaise with the relevant person in the Finance team to ensure this is completed efficiently. Other tasks which you will be responsible for include:

• MI completion and reporting
• Closing files
• Liaising with all relevant stakeholders (CRP, Team Manager, Finance etc.) regarding aged debt
• Dealing with Client balances
• Processing write-offs as part of the billing process
• Completing billing pro-formas
• Pushing forward with billing where appropriate
• Training other members of the support team as necessary.
